Fathers Day: Forging a Bottle Opener for Dad
Dates: Saturday, June 2nd
Time: Noon – 5:00 PM (come & go)
Cost: $40 per family (kid+one parent/guardian)
Instructors: Noah Wakefield – a father of three and an avid blacksmithing enthusiast. Noah received his Master of Fine Arts from Texas Tech University and is currently a Metals Fellow at CASP.
Location: The CH Foundation Metals Studio in the studios at 1106 5th Street.
Class Description: Students will learn how to safely hand forge a steel bottle opener. Heating and hammering techniques will be explored and these skills will turn into a precious gift for Dad. Fun for the family! Ages 10 and up. Must be accompanied by an adult.
