CHAD PLUNKET – DIRECTOR
Chad received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas Tech University and earned his Master of Fine Art with an emphasis in sculpture from Clemson University, and then he returned to school at Texas Tech for his Master of Landscape Architecture. Chad continues to pursue his own artistic endeavors at his north Lubbock studio filled with paint, steel, wood, paper and a variety of tools. The work Chad produces is diverse in materials and aesthetics. Along with his fine art pieces, Chad also executes commercial commissions. He is most proud of his sons Logan and Sawyer.
RACHEL BLACKWELL – PROGRAMS & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Rachel received her Bachelor of Art in English and Bachelor of Fine Art in Theatre Performance from Midwestern State University. She also holds an MFA in Arts Administration from Texas Tech University. She fell in love with the arts at an early age by participating in community theatre, and maintains her involvement in the theatre community through production photography, dramaturgy, and the occasional onstage appearance. Outside of the arts, Rachel volunteers her time at CASA of the South Plains and is a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church.
