The Charles Adams Studio Project is dedicated to making our equipment accessible to the general public. Whether you’ve been creating work for years or you’re looking for a place to start, our classes are a great place to learn more about a wide range of artistic mediums including metal fabrication, foundry processes, printmaking, painting, and more! Classes are announced quarterly and are available for sign up below.

Classes & Workshops FAQ

Can my child attend classes at CASP?

All children under the age of 16 must attend with a parent/guardian and students 16+ can attend with parental consent. All those 18+ can feel free to sign up at any time.

Do you offer classes designed for children?

We do! You will see this listed at the top of the class listing when you sign up your child.

Can my child attend workshops at CASP?

Our workshops are designed for artists of all ages, but we require that all participants under the age of 16 attend with a parent/guardian.

What do I need to bring and wear?

Unless otherwise specified at sign-up CASP will provide you with all the necessary supplies for classes and workshops. We asked that you come in clothing that you don’t mind getting a little messy and require that all students for metals classes wear natural fibers and closed toed shoes.

Who will be teaching my class or workshop?

When you sign up for a CASP class or workshop you will see the name of your instructor. These instructors are working artists here in Lubbock, Texas currently in residence at CASP. Periodically, CASP also offers classes and workshops taught by regional, national, and international instructors.
