THE 5&J GALLERY @ CASP
The CASP 5 & J Gallery is an 1,856 sq. ft. exhibition space located in the heart of downtown Lubbock. Once the home of the City of Lubbock’s police garage, the retro-fitted gallery now hosts monthly innovative exhibitions featuring the work of local, national, and international artists each year.

UFOS Over Lubbock
During the October First Friday Art Trail, CASP welcomes printmakers from across the country to showcase their work. Organized by Lubbock native Carlos Hernadez, this print fair exposes the public to the endless possibilities of contemporary printmaking. Many of these printmakers are world renowned and we look forward to offering them a taste of the Lubbock arts scene each year.
Stuff I Made Today
Each January we kick off the 5&J Exhibition Series with our annual collaborative show, Stuff I Made Today. This event brings together the talents of artists from Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Upon arrival, artists receive a prompt from the exhibition’s curator, Hannah Dean, and are given just 24 hours to create their work before the show opens the following evening. This unique program not only fosters collaboration among regional artists, but also offers our community the opportunity to witness the incredible works created in such a short time.
